Scope and Content Note

This series is organized into four sub-series: General, Individual, Miscellaneous, and Unsorted, Arranged Chronologically. The first two correspond to Sabin's original order and are arranged alphabetically. The Individual sub-series contains correspondence from individual persons as well as certain organizations and/or institutions. The Miscellaneous sub-series is arranged chronologically and also reflects Sabin's original order. The archivist has added to both the Miscellaneous and Individual sub-series. The sub-series Unsorted, Arranged Chronologically was created by the archivist to accommodate boxes of loose correspondence for which no original order existed. Please note that this series does not contain all of Sabin's correspondence. There is a correspondence sub-series in almost every series.
